To maintain proper health and balance in our fishery, we must pay close attention to the prescribed fishing limits of our lake.  These limits are based on studies which show the current fish population and comparative sizes that are appropriate for a lake of our size.  Below is a summary of the catch limits.

PLEASE NOTE: In recent fish surveys, we’ve noticed a reduction in large Bluegills (9” or larger).  Therefore, it is critical to release all Bluegill 9”or larger because these “Bulls” naturally guard the bluegill nests and ensure a healthy Bluegill population.

Daily Limit: 15 (combined)

  • Bluegill

  • Crappie

Catch & Release:

  • Largemouth Bass

  • Muskie

  • Northern Pike

  • Lake Perch

Remove from the lake:

  • Yellow Bass

  • White Bass

  • Common Carp
